Hello there!

I love watching movies, studying them, talking about them, etc. In short, I am a movie lover.

Sometimes I worry about the movies being made these days. Are we churning out crappy movies? I think we definitely are sometimes. I'm only 18, so, the variety of films I have seen is pretty limited, and I want to watch more movies I would never think of watching.

I love movies from the 90's mostly because I grew up in that decade (not that I am grown up necessarily...I still feel like I have a lot more growing up to do!)

My general feeling about movies is that you should try not to begin watching a film convinced you are going to hate it, because then you are guaranteed to hate it, and I think its silly to be so close-minded about movies. Although serious discussion is interesting, sometimes, (especially when viewing certain comedies) you have to let go of that and just laugh out loud! I get the feeling some film critics just cannot let themselves laugh, and that is a shame! Also, I feel there are times for Dumb and Dumber, and there are times for Schindler's List. Sometimes you need a serious film that conveys a powerful message, and sometimes you just need to see Jeff Danials sitting on a non-working toilet with diahhrea..lol

  • Quite the misleading movie

As a Catholic who is frustrated when my religion is warped, this movie offended me. It openly denies Catholic doctrine, and mocked the Church. It's immature, and clearly produced for the shock value. This movie should never have been made.

  • It was funny, but I have seen funnier.

I thought it was funny when Bernie was dancing around without people knowing that he was dead. That is the only reason I remember that movie. It was okay. I am not too critical of comedies, because most are simply designed to make us laugh, and if they succeed without being overly cruel or vulgar, they are generally not bad movies to watch.

  • I love this movie

I first saw this movie about five years ago and I still feel like it was made for my sense of humor. The jokes are funny, and even after seeing it more times than I can count, it is still hilarious. Of course, there are a few slow parts, but every movie is entitled to some of those. Not too crude for my taste, but just twisted enough to make me want to watch it over and over again. I highly recommend this to anybody who appreciates odd humor, and wishes comedies weren't so vulgar.
