Cosmopolis may find favour with those studying for a PhD in philosophy but for the rest of us mere mortals this is one hour 40 minutes that will suck the very essence out of your soul. The dialogue rankles, being a facsimile of second rate Mamet - people do not talk like this even if they are cold dysfunctional shells. A treatise on the evils of capitalism does not make for entertainment. It is commented on during the film that the anarchists have the same objective as the money makers - as in destruction.
