Ortega is at her best as usual, but Paul Rudd, he is the Adam Sandler of the 202x and his dumbness is just exhausting, it's not even funny. In every movie he is a complete failure and it get's old. He's not even a good actor, he is just the guy for the role, due to Hang over and all the other low-iq roles he had. This movie is something for a BBQ night, when you have something else to do but it won't keep you pinched to your seat nor will you care how it ends. The special effects also scream low-budgets, which is strange in the age of AI to have such a bad CGI. If you are bored, may be better watch a Youtube documentary about barnacles instead.
The general story in itself would be interesting, if it weren't for the incredible bad writing. It feels like certain scenes were pre-determined and the writer had to come up with an amzing amount of fantasy to match the plot to the upcoming scene. So the movie is full of absolutely non-sense, illogical behaviour and plot holes. It really rips me out of the scene and makes me think if ChatGPT would be able to fix the script and do a better job than a writer who lost all his creativity and just wants to get the job done. And to all that utter non-sense the guys all have to speak in French, which is totally irrelevant for the whole movie and just makes me feel like reading a book. All in all, if you're really board and you want a revenge movie with popcorn and a bit of gore, yeah I guess, but if you cannot disable your brain you will suffer with this script.
