Charlie Brown tries to have Snoopy drag him on his sleigh, only for Snoopy to end up having Charlie Brown drag him. But Charlie Brown has a long-term annoyance over how Snoopy is "overly civilized, not enough dogified", and Snoopy simply responds by making and eating five pizzas, which leads him to indigestion and the title nightmare, where he is a part of a dog team pulling a sled in the Arctic, abused by both the other sled dogs and the man (never clearly seen) who runs the team.
I note that in Peanuts' later decades, Snoopy would end up sleeping in bed with Charlie Brown at night instead of atop his doghouse as in the past.

A man known as "The Director" hires a detective specializing in audio recordings to eavesdrop on a couple wandering around Union Square in San Francisco. One line from their conversation makes the detective think they have to fear for their lives. With the recording and a photograph, he tries and fails to get law enforcement interested. Instead he tries to check on the couple himself, but things go wrong...
This would have been a better thriller, but it seems overlong and none of the characters are fleshed out, not even the secretive detective who greatly values his privacy. There is an end twist, but the rest of the movie takes a long time to get there. Interesting to see once, but this is not the classic it was supposed to be.
