I never knew this movie, heard recently when suddenly it started coming in my feeds where I saw ppl crying in the theatres.
To begin with, the dubbing is terrible, has a deep bass and completely unnatural. If you've ever watched South Indian movies dubbed in Hindi, you'll know exactly what I mean.
The story is dull, the music is average, and the film feels completely directionless, as if it were directed by someone stuck in the '90s.
I won't criticize the actors since they did a good job, especially the lead actor.
Overall, it's not a great movie. Maybe teenagers in love or dealing with heartbreak might find it emotional, but for everyone else, it's best to skip.

This is the story that shook the nation in the last decade. However, the movie fails to deliver the dark thrill it was expected to. The lead actor, despite being talented, is a poor fit for the role, which demands a more intense and psychopathic portrayal.
The film's pacing also feels off, dragging in parts where it should build tension. Key moments that could have been gripping come across as flat, and the direction lacks the sharpness needed for such a dark narrative. The supporting cast, while competent, can't save the film from its underwhelming execution. The screenplay misses the mark in capturing the gravity of the events. Overall, it's a missed opportunity that fails to live up to its potential. A more compelling portrayal and tighter direction could have made this a memorable experience.
Instead of watching this film, I'd recommend Shams Tahir Khan's coverage of the story. 5/10 - disappointing.
