I had the pleasure of watching this film last night. It was a nice down-to-earth depiction of adolescence, awakening and responsibilities. However, it left me wanting more. The story was nice and real but at the same time baiting and not going where all the indicators pointed. The ending also felt anti-climactic. No real purpose to tie the knot of the film and its story.
Even though I can find plot holes and such I still enjoyed it. Great acting from Lily Loveless and the rest of the cast. The visual pictures where slow and establishing mixed with fast montages giving the film a nice tempo with mixed effect.

I had sky-high hopes for this film when me and my friend went to the pre-preview. When we sat there in the chairs it felt like we were in heaven. I can understand why some people might not find the film that appealing (mainly due to the strong feminist ideas about men and women in society).
However, if you're not scared of feminist thoughts or a rapid, fun, smart and brilliantly written movie... this is the film for you. It's probably the best comedy I've seen since Pitch Perfect (I'm into sarcastic and physical humor). Not to mention the best cop-comedy I've EVER seen... so Hot Fuzz can kiss my ***.
The cast is marvelous and does an amazing job, especially the two leads (Bullock and McCarthy) who portrays strong, willful, smart and (seemingly) social misfits women who tries, and succeeds, to get the recognition they truly deserves.
In other words. I DEEPLY recommend this film and I hope you guys liked it as much as I did.
