It's stupid fun idk why this got all of the hate. Sure it's flawed in many aspects but I enjoyed it a lot. Maybe the flaws made it feel very fresh for me. I think this a hidden gem and I won't care the mid 00s elitist ratings and spread the love for it.
What's up with increasing number of movies with identity crisis? I couldn't tell if this movie was wanting to be like Zombieland or Walking Dead. Couldn't connect any of the characters so couldn't care about the unnecessary drama and why would you waste your cgi budget in the intro for 5 minutes then only show boring indoor shots like a tv show? Who planed this mess? Such a waste of resource. My respects and 4 point to all of the staff and hard workers but creative direction you failed big time. One of the worst I've seen this year.
Slow pace and unnecessary romanticism made it your classic boring kdrama prologue. Don't get me wrong most kdramas starts slow but picks up later. For this one it tried that with ridiculous but fun gunfights but it still fell short. I have to admit Hyojoo's visuals were breathtaking and made the slow pace more bearable.
