I'm adding a star cuz of the cast, I really respect Nicole Kidman for everything she's done, but I think the critics got this wrong, again 🙄
While watching this movie, at points, I was getting heart palpitations based on how bad it was, that doesn't happen often. While it had potential to be an interesting depiction of women in high places who also have appetites of certain types it simply failed to deliver.
The erotica was simply ridiculous and had the effect of a cold ice water bucket dousing me. It was gross 🤢. It almost seems this movie might've been inspired by Emma Stone's performance in Poor Things but it failed in comparison.
Wasn't completely unwatchable, especially if you're a fan of the cast members, and it lends itself to interesting follow up discussions about how bad some of the stuff coming out of Hollywood has become. But, hey! They're trying! But take pass 😉

While this true crime series offers some interesting stories and has good narration the psychoanalysis by Brian Russell and Stacey Kaiser sabotage the show. Their pseudo-intellectual comments serve absolutely no purpose to the stories. Russell's expression and weird lips are a distraction.
Many of these stories have been told on great shows like Forensic Files, and others, using actual people from the crime investigations who have actual expertise, unlike these two knuckleheads sitting in chairs blabbing resulting in nothing but eye rolls from viewers. Avoid this and look elsewhere, I repeat; Avoid this and look elsewhere 👎🏼

I had to research as to why they used a horrible CGI monkey for this really boring movie and found that whoever the guy being portrayed is said he felt like he was thrown onto the circus stage like a monkey 🙄
Not enough a reason IMO to put up with a monkey for two hours.
Additionally, the guy's career is actually pretty lackluster. His music is unoriginal and didn't make it over to this side of the pond. He was not part of the British invasion because he sucked.
This is not Rocket Man or Bohemian Rhapsody or A Complete Unknown, it's British soap opera at its worst.
I only lasted about halfway through this mess, oddly loved by the critics, which is the biggest mystery of it all, you know; the same people that awarded Anora the Academy award!
