The story had some interesting elements in the beginning but completely fell off the rails near the last hour. It was another mess by Michael Bay. The worst one in the entry for sure. Brought nothing new to the franchise. Cheesy one liners, bad stereotype Transformers and horrible action. I really hope this is Bay's last one, the series need some major work to get my attention again.

This movie is the complete opposite of the original Power Rangers which is not a good thing. The Power Rangers movie is meant to be colorful, fun, cheesy and action packed. This one takes itself way too seriously and does not work. The characters are all boring and so stereotypical. The zords, costumes, Alpha are all poorly designed and terrible. The Krispy Kreme product placement is way over the top, you think Krispy Kreme funded this movie. The movie does not warrant a sequel and already needs a reboot. Should have stuck to what worked rather than reinvent the wheel.

After reading the positive reviews, I decided to check this movie out. The movie moves at a snails pace with no suspense or nail biting moments. It is beyond me why this film received a 7.2 rating on this site. The entire movie could have been watched in 15 minutes. I felt the movie had a ton of un-needed filler which expanded the viewing time to 1hr 30 mins. This felt more like a TV show than a movie. I would not recommend this movie to anyone since it fails on all levels of entertainment. You are better off watching the Harry Potter movies again which are highly entertaining and have more suspense than this movie will ever deliver.
