Mesmerizing & accurate portrayal of 1980's party life, clubs, music, fashion. Lives are inconvenient nuisances to it all.
This is a very good, realistic & a sad film. Worth watching. The wild isn't Disneyland.
Same formula as the first so entertaining from that perspective, but script lacks, too much foul language, and Bates character was just weird and unnecessary.
Very good story of couple with ordinary problems until a crisis puts life in proper perspective. My only complaint about the film is that McCougnahy (sp) can't take a walk in a forest without getting injured.
Showcase of our human-created inferior world with never-ending evil, ultimately overcome by the good of the natural world.
Compelling stories, excellent acting, excellent artistry and technical support. You won't be disappointed. My only disappointment are the demises of some good people, but that is true to life, unfortunately.
Well done movie and intriguing storyline, but there is no ending!! Wolves going on their way, unexplained Alaskan revenge culture against non-perps, two crazies walking around with son's coffin, and investigative author in hospital? That's it?? Surely there is a follow up! One other complaint is to please have audible dialogues. Woman at the beginning of the show could not be heard at all, without using full volume! If a second movie with explanations and sensible ending is made, I'd give both movies a 9-10.
This movie had a profound impact on me when I saw it as a child. The strength, resolve, and intelligence, as well as dealing with isolation, was so inspiring. I've drawn on it throughout my life to emulate the same when faced with difficulties. The bonding with the wild dog, unconditional love, devotion and encouragement was a gift from the creator of all life. Highly recommend for young kids.
