  • Brilliant Concept

This is an excellent and extremely entertaining show. The animation really brings these stories to life in a way that watching an interview alone never could.

Whoever thought of this concept is literally a genius. I really hope there are 10 more seasons covering all the greatest country music singers.

PS. Please do one on Gary Stewart, as you'll get a great episode out of some of his stories I'm sure.

  • Excellent

This show takes children to another world. A world that judgemental stupid adults don't understand at all. I've heard all kinds of idiotic comments about the show from the most unimaginative, uncreative, people I know. This would be the majority of people in the world. All sheep, no real leaders and no creativity. If you are creative, you are an outcast. My daughter loved it. So I encouraged it! Because parents, it is not about you and your selfishness, it's about your child and what they naturally enjoy! My sister in law prevented my niece from watching the show because she didn't like it. I bought my daughter all the Boobah dolls. They ended up at my niece's house and were never seen again. Ignoramus sister-in-law threw them all out.

  • Beautiful and amazing!!!

I am so surprised that people don't appreciate the beauty and awe of this picture. Then again, should I be surprised that people every day in all aspects of society tear down beautiful things like forests and architecture? No, because it happens all the time.

I took my daughter to this and we watched it in 3D. I was not much in the mood for a movie and I really had no idea what to expect.

I thought this movie was brilliant and it truly took me to another place. I was glued to the screen and couldn't take my eyes off. It was so good all the way through.

Yes I have read the complaints from critics (who are all failed artists in my opinion) knocking it for everything from James Franco's performance (which I thought was brilliant and inspiring) to a thin storyline, etc. Blah, blah, blah.

All I can say is you critics are so busy over-analyzing every little detail you learned in some acting class somewhere that you missed the point of the movie: just sit there and enjoy it! This is true creativity. You have lost your sense of childlike wonderment about the world. None of you would ever be able to accomplish something like this.

My daughter and I both loved it.

I think Raimi's vision was well executed and the cast and crew did a great job. I think it's better than the original OZ movie. Is it sacrilegious to say that?

The 3D was the best 3D yet. Way better than Avatar in the 3D department.

This film is a masterpiece of color, it was beyond beautiful. It was so beautiful...the actresses have never looked better either. Franco was cool in the real sense and he looked like it.

This movie was perfectly made and I felt like I was there. In a cynical world where art seems to be less and less appreciated, I cannot help but stand up and say I loved it amidst all the "popular" critics' opinions.

  • A movie to revisit every couple of years!

OK I read all these negative reviews by these boneheads. I loved this movie when I first saw it, and I still love it today. It's one of my all time favourite movies. Don't listen to these people.

If you are generally a follower and you want to see a predictable movie, don't watch this one. You will be too stupid to appreciate the humour in it or the plot.

I appreciate it for what it is. Funny! Some great moments in this film including Vaughn and Garafalo's characters.

Plus there is a great soundtrack in the movie. If you don't love music, you won't like this movie either.

  • Very Pleasantly Surprised!

I really wanted to see this when I read that there was some Elvis content. At first I thought it was going to be some really lame movie. It exceeded my expectations and I loved it! I didn't actually see a rating but my daughter and I watched it and we laughed pretty good! I will be watching this again. And who is this Lindsay Price? She is sure beautiful and talented! I would love to hear her sing! The King is portrayed by Patrick just perfectly. We never got to know what Elvis would have been like had he lived, but I believe this is as good and believable as it could get. He even looks like a well aged Elvis. A wonderful job! I love this movie, I really do! It was well thought out by people who actually are Elvis fans otherwise they wouldn't have done such a good job. As for Jay Mohr, for some reason, I wasn't thrilled that he was in the movie at first. Why, I don't know. But he was really great, the face he makes under the bed of Hank Hankerson is absolutely hilarious!! When I saw that, I knew I was watching a movie I would like. I am definitely a fan of Mr. Mohr. Loved it and the plot!
