There are a few movies that plainly have the it-- mysterious, above words, raw genius.
To comment on this and that seems as silly as trying to describe what makes a breeze feel nice.
Any adult who doesn't enjoy watching this, isn't watching.
M haunts the mind and spirit as pLorre glides through its dark, powerful shadows and ultimately gains sympathies for the most terrible crime on earth.

It is to bad that this movie exists. Sort of like Waiting for Guffman, but sadly it's not supposed to be funny. In fact, these are real people trying to act, and in this regard, the movie could certainly qualify as "disturbing." Since it was filmed in color I'll boost the rating to 1.1.
Don't see this: given the choice, choose to watch the glass of your unpowered TV before inflicting this upon yourself.
It WAS a good idea, and the writer's have taken even that away. I hate to be mean, but then again only the cruelest people could make and release this intentionally. i am sure that all of the grand reviews must have also been written by these people...no one that can group letters into words could honestly say "yes, that had some quality." I guess the Cube ravers are on a payroll.
This should be banned from human viewing.

This is an excellent sleeper film of which I had the fortune to discover in our library. It is quite sad that American Film is as limited as it is, especially in the small attention to anything other than the star and director: for in feroce, one cannot but help notice the degrees of quality afforded by a casting that nails its target. It does so to a measure that not only adds, but actually makes the movie work! I anticipate marvelous gems to exit the mind of young Monsieur Fraioli, and encourage American Casting Directors - many with 20+ years of experience - to pay attention to this mind. He may be the next Mamet, Bénichou, or Mary Jo Slater!
