Wow, what a movie. It is really grubby and horrible and fantastic. The apartment reminds me of a dive where my friend lived when I was a teenager. It's a slice of life that you don't see in most movies. The lead actor was very good, very believable. I liked how all of the actors (except the parents) were a little weird. People in comic shops are a bit weird but thats why I like them. It's a short movie but says what it wants to and doesn't waste any time.
This is an uncomfortable watch. But... life on the edge is a bit uncomfortable. My son is 14 and we battle at times like the characters. It was interesting for me to see it from the kids perspective.
This will remain in my mind, great work.
