  • re: factual error

The so-called factual error was an intentional error, which stemmed from Bess's character. Thank you for watching the film. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and has played at festivals such as Savanah, Hamptons, Hollywood (where it was a finalist), Woodstock, and others. The film had its television premiere on the Independent Film Channel in 2003. The film was based on a short story by Tom Tolnay, which won first prize in a national fiction contest sponsored by John Updike's Literal Latte. The film was shot on location at Vassar College. Paul Bernard and Jim Scura were the film's producers. We are preparing a feature version of this short. While financing is not yet in place, we are making every effort to find it.
