I cannot believe how bad this movie was. From the terrible camera work, constantly cutting away and breaking flow, to the horrible music choices that didnt fit the scenes at all, the wooden acting from everyone really (altho stallones daughter takes the cake for worst acting i have ever seen), to the nonsensical dialogue and unearned gravitas they put on random people, to whatever in gods name they were doing with nic cage's character... i just have no adequate words for how awful this movie is. But i think Nic Cages character does have the words "He'p meh Jesus, Good God ya'll He'p me (forget this movie)"
This feels like some fan-made straight to youtube show that cost maybe 500 dollars to make, all of which was spent on some high schooler to do the cgi.
The main actor is very clearly not an actor, and the supporting cast was okay at best, although they looked pretty good compared to the main guy.
Episodes were extremely short, felt rushed, and had very poor writing.
The story seemed like it had some potential, if they had an actual budget to make the show and hired some real actors/writers. I couldnt make it past episode 2 though, despite the extremely short runtime on episodes.
People giving this a 10/10 are delusional or just doing it because they are fans of the main actor, who apparently is some youtube person.

I saw Ralphie May live in Dekalb, IL on his Unruly Tour. He put on an amazing show, went for almost 2 and a half hours, despite only being paid for a 45 minute slot. Told us if we had to work for 2 hours to pay for our tickets, he wanted to give us at least 2 hours worth of comedy. That earned some respect in my book.
He had some great material, a lot from his special and plenty of new stuff. He is crude, he is not politically correct, he is vulgar, but he is hilarious. If any of those bother you, honestly good luck finding a comedian you will enjoy. He ended his set by talking about the veterans in our country needing our help and he just seemed like a really great guy.
That said, his DVD special is pure comedy, and made me laugh. What more can one ask of a comedy special? Give him a chance, the negative reviews are most likely people who do not appreciate crude humor or profanity, which is fine, but if so then it was clearly their mistake to see a comedian well known for both.
In short, if you like Ron White or Bill Burr, I think you will enjoy Ralphie May.
