I saw the movie prior to finding so much hate within the reviews. It is true that the film has 2 or 3 questionable plot-holes, but giving it anything less that 5 is clearly hate rating. The film also is not up for more than 8, since there are some very questionable issues with the development of the plot at certain points, and its message is strong, but rather simple.
"Shot-Circuit (1986) meets the gansta" is entertaining, and leaves a couple of things to think about by the end of it, so I think it does deserve its current average of 7.2.
I liked it more than Elyseum, but a bit less that District 9. I clearly recommend it, but keep your expectations in check just in case.

I really don't understand what so many find in this movie. The flick is slow, jokes are lousy and everything is stupidly predictable. It's like Porky's Revenge without naked women, nor action. I saw it with some friends (men and women) who took off before the end because they were falling asleep.
Acting is bad (specially the 'pretty' boy), peace is slow, jokes are lame and too much of a fairy tale where the 'popular' guy notices the 'poor unpopular' girl out of the blue with idiot lines such as 'I'm tired of partying' which you would never hear from a 18 years-old guy.

Very well written miniseries, as seldom produced Thrillers for T.V.
With a great script, and very good actors that give the story all the energy and veracity needed, this program achieves an attraction too close to an addiction. No other miniseries had me glued to the T.V., not from Argentina nor anywhere else, like this one did.
A true diamond to admire.
