Bapu and Ramana duo are greatly regarded for their capabilities of story telling. This is one of their classic drama movie.
I was one month old when this was released but I watched it quite a few times in these 28 yrs.. the dialogues are just amazing , they have subtle humor and gentle satire on the money minded protagonist. Chiranjeevi was the leading action hero during that time and he plays a beautiful character in this movie.. its not apt to call him hero because there are many heroes in this movie.. All characters are perfectly crafted and dialogues are top notch. Music and background score by Maestro Ilayaraja is perfect as usual.. Not sure if this class movie was a commercial hit(esp as Chiranjeevi was doing mass masala movies during that period) but this is definitely highly recommended for viewing. For those who enjoy telugu dialogue, satire and humor its a feast.
