of a wonderful book. Rutger Hauer is at his best. The only thing that puzzled me was the ending, I did not understand the need to change the original ending of the book, it just doesn't make sense.
This film is very rare to find, but not the book, so if you want to read a masterpiece, here's your chance.

The screenwriting is so dreadful. They lead you to confrontations and constantly sneak out the back door, avoiding action, interest and movie magic. The film is a near joke, despite a few beautiful boys being cast in it. And the good performance by Johnny Depp? Actually, it's quite bad. I wasted my Saturday night watching the worst movie I have seen in a long, long time. Right now I am debating whether this film is better or worse than Polish Wedding. The acclaim this film receives has left me feeling like a martian.
