  • The worst movie I have ever sat through in my life

Okay, I'm at the store and got to pick a horror movie real quick. I discover "Live Feed" and thinks that it can be fun. But I was dead wrong.

First of all, the introduction is promising with great atmosphere and it sets the mood right. That's the first 7 minutes, because suddenly it's a laughable excuse for a horror movie. The actors are by far the worst I have ever seen on film, their expressions did not at all match what was going on and they were so awkward to watch that THAT'S what the real horror was!

The plot is sickeningly standard, you already know what it is. It's about stupid teens travelling and getting locked in a hotel.

SFX weren't anything to write home about, considering this is extremely low budge, BUT in the beginning this actually works. What happened? In the beginning it actually felt like a horror movie, but when those treasured minutes were gone it just became hilariously bad, so bad that this is number 1 on my crap-list. Never come anywhere near this movie, you'll just waste you and your friends time.

  • Asian horror at it's finest!

Bought this quite cheap at a video-store and since I've always been fascinated by dolls I simply had to buy it!

The film starts out a bit slow, but here you really get to know the characters and their personalities. Then when it starts to speed up you'll be introduced to the horror and how scary dolls really can be.

You'll cover your eyes and ears during some parts. The tension is extreme throughout the movie and it constantly changes your perception of the horrors that the characters encounter. What I mean by this is that once you think you've figured out how the horrors can take place, the movie throws something different at you to make you think different.

It's a little reminiscent of The Grudge, and adds a new twist to the "evil doll-genre".

All the actors did a great job, but the once who really stand out are the guy who invites everyone to the mansion and Yu-Mi. Especially Hae-Mi as Yu-Mi delivers a stunning performance.

The story is very strong with a lot, and I mean A LOT of twists as well as impressive writing. The plot throws something different at you every 10 minutes or so, never leaving you bored or making you take your eyes off the screen.

Only watch this if you want to enjoy a rich story, get freaked out, scared out of your mind and love dolls!

  • Sticking to the roots of August Underground, as well as adding new content to the genre

The lesbian couple Syl and Maddie like to produce innocent fetish movies, but each video contains a deadly twist; A huge man covered in bandages and a bizarre mask who tortures and kills the fetish-actors on tape.

Needless to say, the special effects looks spectacular and realistic. This is not for the faint of heart; Arms are sawed of, bones are broken and heads are being crushed like water melons.

The characters in the movie are brilliantly portrayed by their actors, and the acting is top notch at all times! Toetag tend to be very superficial with the characters, so it's nice to see a fresh breath of air for once!

The main character, Maskhead, is brilliantly portrayed by the big-boned Michael Witherel. When he walks in on the "movie-set" you'll be scared to death because he is so incredibly big! He is also covered in bandages, burns and (Self-injury?) scars. The villain is perfect, so why don't tell us more about the man behind the bandages?

Not really a complaint, but more of a question to Toetag; Who is Maskhead? If you have managed to invent such a brilliant villain, why don't you exploit him more? Squeeze every character potential out of him! I am begging for a sequel!
