A most enjoyable adventure of the underwater variety which spawned many later versions and a TV series.
Fairly believable, for a 1950's film that is, with plenty of flashing lights on machinery, as is usual, and a nice variety of characters and a very nice monster.
The miniature submerged sub was not at all convincing but this was normal for the time.
Well worth watching.

I had expected this to be terrible in the way that US/Italian co-operation films tend to be but it was very good. Every actor and actress did a great job with one big name to draw in the punters, Yvonne.
Well worth watching as it did not look cheap in any way and even the monster was passable, great fun for all.
