Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Richard Madden, and Shailene Woodley in Killer Heat (2024)

  • With the cast, I thought it was much better...

To be honest, I love Joseph Gordon Levitt, and I do believe he is a great actor and director. But this time he did a horrible job, or maybe just a bad decision in acting in this movie. The script is so crappy... and I figured who was the killer and pretty much what was going on in the first 5' of the movie. I'm very disappointed... I wasn't expecting what I saw. Also, the movie is quite slow...! It gave me anxiety just to see how slow it was and believe me I'm not too picky watching movies! Lol. Madden wasn't surprising either but not taking into account a few exceptions, I think his acting is bad, he has emotionless face, he's mostly pretty, probably that's the reason why he was included here. Well... I lost my time here too besides the movie but I had to share. Sorry, Joseph!!

  • They learnt the lesson from season 1, I love it!

Writers heard the feedback about season 1 being slow, and season 2 so far has been great! I'm loving it more every episode! And hating Sauron's intelligence 🤣 I think writers started with maybe 10 seasons in mind and I don't think there is sooooo much to tell before Lord of the rings saga, so they enlarged and made the intro of Sauron way too long in season 1. I get what they were trying to do though, but the audience is not ready for that rhythm, given the movies that are very long but so many things happen in each movie! I agree with other reviews that some characters could have been explored more, however, this is the story of Sauron and how the rings were made. Please keep it going!

  • Intriguing and original

First, I'm a bit disappointed to hear that it was cancelled, I really wanted to see where the different realities were going. Instead, they left an open ended that now we will never see the answers on. Sad. I thought that despite a few things that needed further explanation (such as the non existent CAL in Jo's new reality...), it was very well done and it had so much potential!!

Main actress was really good, all actors really. Banks also never disappoints. I do think that they could have developed some characters a bit more, but overall I never hesitated to continue watching as others expressed (some said they couldn't pass the 4th or 5th episode), it was very entertaining!

  • Very disappointed by season 3...

I really loved first season and kind of liked second season. But last one lacked of a good and cohesive back story. Is like I've watched episodes just to laugh about Grogu babbling or pressing a button in a robot to say yes or no.

As other reviewers said, it seems as if the show is "kicking off" Mando off the show by giving more space to Bo-Katan, with Katie, being her a terrible actress... not even the imperial "hidden plans" story was fully explored...

I really liked Mando's back story, I just wished they have explored that a bit more, we barely heard about it in first two seasons. Also, Pedro Pascal is so under utilized in this show!!!! You have one of the hottest actors right now and we can't even see his face when he is by himself. For what is worth, it could just be anyone...

Not sure if we will see any other season or maybe the idea is a spin off with Bo-Katan, but if that happens I'm not sure I'll watch it.

  • I can't stop laughing!!!

Im originally from Argentina and I had no very high expectations from this show because I almost didn't know any of the actors. This fun crime / suspense comedy, where a guy that seems very dumb ends up waking up in his life when he stars working by mistake in a community squad. He makes friends with the most diverse group of people you could ever imagine. As another reviewer said, every line is a punch line you can't help it and start laughing... I think the humor is the type of British comedies, I love it but I understand might not be for everyone, style can be similar to the original Death at a funeral, a bit dark and gruesome at times, but very smart! Really well job from the director.

  • Too long, not even one part of the story is complete

Visually stunning, but story has a lot to desire for and when it ended and was like... wtf? Of course is just the beginning but for this I'm glad I didn't go to the movies to watch it. I kind of feel I've lost 2.5 hours of my life I won't get back...

  • Surprisingly lovely and emotive movie!

I've seen other reviews and not sure why they are saying horrible things about this movie. We watched it as a family and really enjoyed it! We laughed, cried and also got a quote of mystery. Highly recommend! Also, actors are fantastic, especially Asa!

  • I always come back to this movie... :)

Not sure why this movie is so under rated, this is such a lovely movie! Full of feelings... not just romantic love, but reflection about family love that sometimes is oversight, but so important!... Made me laugh, cry... and also dream about a roadtrip...

  • Watch first 3 seasons...

This tv show was amazing and so original as any other tv show I have seen, until I watched the last few seasons... quality went down abruptly, not sure why!!! They ruined the last season in a way that is hard to explain. I didn't like it at all. But I did enjoy the first 3 seasons. Stop there and you won't regret watching it.
