IF you really want to enjoy the story, Read the book Forrest Gump. The book is really amazing. The movie Forrest Gump is ok ok. Lal Singh Chaddha is a cheap copy of the English movie. What I dislike is the story, camera, cinematography all concentrating on the Hero. Gone are the days when movies would run by the Hero. Today, the audience is more educated and intellectual. To keep them tied to the seat one needs a good storyline and not just focus everything on the hero.
Its a cheapshot. I would rather watch a cartoon on TV than this mediocre movie.
Laal Singh Chaddha is a comedy/drama movie directed by Advait Chandan. Screenplay by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions. It is a remake of the Forrest Gump which itself is an adaptation of the novel of the same name.

The usual anti-indian Narrative. The producers must understand that the socialist Venezuela cannot even get it's people bread. People have to queue for bread. It's not all bright and sunny in socialism. In China, a parent cannot decide what their child is going to become. The govt decides. Thanks but no thanks. We don't want such propaganda films.
Well, not sure what I can say about this film. In one place it shows the hero standing against superstition and in the end, he supports superstition. What exactly the director wants to say? probably he had too much hashish. Anyway, the bias in the movie is too stark. All negative characters, situations and events are hindu. And all positive characters, events are shown as Muslim. Disappointed at Akshay who is ready to sell his motherland for a few bucks.
I wont be seeing Akshay movies anymore.
