  • 100% better

This has to be the best improvement in Spider-man television series. The first t.v series was cheaply done, but great for it's time. Skip over to the 90s cartoon, where if you missed one episode...you'd be lost for the next season. I give most of the credit to Brian Michael Bendis, one of the best comic book writers for the 21st century. He's the famous writer of Ultimate Spider-man, powers, etc...in case you didn't know. He doesn't write the episodes...yet. But he does do the producing and the adapting for television...in case that counts for something. It would of been a lot nicer if Tobey and Kirsten provided their voices, but I think the two they have for Peter and Mary Jane now are doing just fine. The effects are great. I admit, at first I was a little disgruntled about the entire series being in computer animation, but it all paid off. The web swinging is great. It feels a little more realistic than the movie.

The scripts are obviously better than the 90s television series. Remember how every episode seemed to end with "To be continued..."? It was as if the writers didn't have a clue how to end anything. At lease these episodes leave you with a little closure...so far. Over all, I give it a 8 out of 10. It's missing a few elements that I think should be inserted. (Such as Brian Michael Bendis writing.) But in all fairness, it's probably the best show MTV will get this year.

  • Sadly boring.

I watched the premire last night, and I practically fell asleep. It was very unrealistic. Oliver is played by a short fat kid who has a crush on this tall, skinny girl that's probably four years older than him. The big brother looks too young for a woman to take him in a room and show him her bare chest. It's a stupid show. I laughed once or twice, but it wasn't worth it. Don't bother with this show...let it get cancelled like all the other shows on FOX.

  • It's great...if you're into it.

This cartoon was funny, as long as you were a fan. Beetlejuice, the character, of course, had to have some personality traits changed in order of the FCC to allow him. Such as, Beetlejuice was the good guy in the cartoon. Him and Lydia were friends. The couple, Adam and Barbara from the movie were not in this, but still, it held up...well, until they cancelled the show. I guess it wasn't show time after all...
