  • The end of a good career

When Senatore acted in this movie, she was pregnant, drug addicted (heroin) and, above all, without money (all spent for the heroin). For this reason she accepted to make this hard-core film (this will be her only one of this kind, and her last one at all). But she was arrested facing the accuse to smuggle heroin, remaining in prison for almost one year. It's funny if you think that only the year before, she still played in some interesting Italian soft-core Italian movies like MALOMBRA (1983), which was a big hit in Italy at that time, from the Antonio Fogazzaro's novel with same name, directed by Bruno Gaburro (whom, according Senatore, directed all the hard-core sequences starring her, even if, the director never confirmed).

  • One of the most...

stupid, racist, offensive movie ever made! Well, it's clear that Roth thinks that every person who lives in Slovakia is, either an assassin or a bitch. Or both. No police, no army. It's unspeakable why lots of young tourists's going to place where there is no anything to see and to do. I'm really scared in which way can show we Italian in the second episode he's about to shot just in Italy. Beware to yourself, Roth! What else? The players are very bad. You don't even trust they can feel a real pain. Them faces doesn't show grimaces of pain, but only grimaces, full stop! I cannot understand the reason Tarantino could to accept to produce a movie like this. In a few words, to avoid!

  • It's not a masterpiece, but...

it's really interesting the documentary side of this Righelli's work. In fact, after a few seconds with the screen black, the director, accompanied by the song which gives the name to the movie, begins filming some among the most beautiful monuments, churches and statues placed in the "eternal city". Unfortunately the main actress is terrible: her way to act is full of "birignao" typical on actress of that period. But Righelli let us know who learned very well the Russian lesson (Vertov among all): You can see especially in the sequence in which the young woman, after they took off away his son, thinks to commit suicide seeing the camera that goes down along the building from the roof to the street. If you ever have the occasion to see it, do it!
