Fountain of Youth is a nice addition to the genre, but ultimately, it falls a bit flat. The acting is great - as expected from the cast - and the film is competently made, with a steady pace and polished visuals.
However, the plot is fairly predictable, following a familiar formula without offering much that sets it apart. It hits all the expected beats, but never quite manages to surprise or truly excite. It's enjoyable in the moment, but lacks the spark that would make it memorable.
It's definitely worth a watch if you enjoy this type of film, but it's not one I'd revisit. A decent one-time adventure, just not a standout in the genre.

I went into 'Georgia Rule' knowing almost nothing about it, expecting a typical teen drama - but what I got was a much deeper, more emotionally turbulent story that genuinely surprised me.
The film tackles some heavy subject matter, and while that caught me off guard at first, I think it was handled with care and sincerity. Lindsay Lohan delivers one of her strongest performances, capturing her character's complexity with real heart. And Jane Fonda is an absolute delight, bringing a sharp, grounded presence to every scene she's in.
It's not the breezy coming-of-age story that was marketed to me, but it's definitely worth the watch. Messy, raw, and at times uncomfortable, 'Georgia Rule' is a film that doesn't shy away from difficult truths - and that's what makes it memorable.

Peter Pan & Wendy is a decent live-action adaptation that has just enough emotional depth to make it watchable, but it never quite soars the way you hope a Peter Pan story might.
The acting is hit or miss - understandable, given the young age of much of the cast - but it sometimes pulls you out of the story. The script also has a few clunky, cringey moments that made me wince more than once. I usually love Jude Law, but his version of Captain Hook felt more awkward than menacing or memorable.
There are some nice moments and emotional beats that land well, which helped keep my interest, but overall, it just didn't offer anything particularly special. It's fine, and kids might enjoy it, but I'd be far more likely to revisit the animated classic when I want a trip back to Neverland.
