I've owned this movie for a while, and only needed to see it once before deciding to run to the store to buy it. As a matter of fact, I'm watching it right now, but I got on here and looked it up because I wanted to see what other movies the writer had written (unfortunately---it's the only one.) After looking at the ratings and comments I had to voice my own opinion.
"The Wedding Planner" has everything you could ask from a romantic comedy. Predictability is always a factor, but come on! Do we really watch these types of movies expecting to be surprised at the ending? This film is quirky; all the actors and actresses don't miss a beat and they keep it real. No matter how many times I watch it, I still find something to laugh or smile at.
I haven't yet met a MAN that likes this movie, but if you're a girl that wants something sweet, funny, entertaining, and the "romantic dream"..... in other words: a flick you watch with a pint of ice cream ( =P ) then this is the one for you.
The directing is great, the dialog is entertaining, the acting is enjoyable, the movie over-all is fantastic. It's just sweet...even my mom likes it! O_O
Honestly, stop judging the movie like you're some kind of almighty critic, and watch it for what it is. If you don't like the genre, then pick something else to watch ^_^ Me? I'll stick with "The Wedding Planner".

People will try to make this out to be just another T.V. show that shows people's hurts and pain. Or just more people trying to get their face on television. I completely disagree, and if anyone would even take the time to WATCH the show, and I mean really watch it....they'll realize that it's not the show, but the people in it that will make it less appealing.
Cheaters happens to be a free investigation service. And the reason they show it on T.V.is so that their investigations CAN be free, and to publicly declare that infidelity in a relationship is NOT a good idea. I don't care what anyone says, this show has helped as many people as many others. Cheaters are contacted BY the people, and if they're significant other is cheating, then yes...it would be hard, and they sometimes over-react, thus making people think that this show is just "horrible" and "un-called for". Like I said, the people---not the show.
Think about it...if you thought that your husband or wife was cheating on you, and you couldn't get enough facts to prove it to yourself...wouldn't it be nice to find out the truth? And have video to back it up? I don't know about you, but I sure as heck wouldn't mind some private eyes looking into it for me and getting some hard facts on innocence or guilt. And Cheaters is darn good at doing that.
I love the show, I think it's fantastic. It's Cops--but on a relationship level. Greco is awesome, and this show deserves its Props. Watch it for yourself, and you'll understand. As I said, it's an honest show, with an honest purpose.

As you can probably see, this movie is not very well known and the odds of many people reading this are highly unlikely. I had never heard of it until I saw it at Blockbuster in the "pre-viewed" buying section. I was skeptical of buying because I had never heard of it and my movie range is quite large. I bought it anyways, and I have to say I wasn't thrilled with it but I enjoyed it.
It's not the the type of movie you own and actually watch/want to watch like the regulars. However, if you're in the right mood, then you can thoroughly enjoy it. You can get into it. There are moments where you could scream at the characters in the movie for doing the typical, stupid, clichéd things that appear in most "suspense" movies. There are parts that will make you cringe possibly, if you're the squeamish type. Its all a matter of what type of person you are.
This movie is not completely original in all aspects, but neither are the Screams and Halloweens, but people still enjoy them. This is how I see this movie. It's not a well done, fantastic movie---It's just entertaining. With a pretty good and fitting ending I must say.
