After his ridiculous "I'm still here" joke of a stunt mini movie or whatever that idiotic tv special was supposed to be, it's absolutely incredible that Joaquin has been cast in anything. He was bad in Joker, he was bad in Her, and he's bad here in Napoleon. The acting is weak and uneven and the story isn't all that historically accurate. These big war epics are just so played out and boring. The movie is slow and the dialogue is forced and poorly written. Hollywood needs to stop casting Joaquin, period, let him sink into the sunset. He's been riding his brothers coattails for his entire career. This movie is a complete fail.
What a massive steamy pile just as bad as the third. At one point He literally fights a BLIND GUY and instead of being quiet and popping his cap, Wick stomps around like a Clydesdale, it's one of the most laughable action scenes I've ever witnessed.
Also, apparently someone put an air tag on Wick, because everyone knows his EXACT location at any time. I'm also insulted they mimicked a "bit" from the original Warriors movie having a radio dj update the apparent 5,000 assassins in Paris France, via FM radio... in English. Wick has to fight these assassins because instead of just hiding until the duel Happens he decides to go out in public in his signature suit... that oh yeah is bulletproof Kevlar that can resist a point blank shotgun blast but for some reason also sounds like metal when the suit is shot. There's also this random guy that follows Wick around. He had his hand stabbed through the top, and then pulled his hand through the knife horizontally to remove it, essentially bisecting his hand. But 24 hours later he was fist fighting guys.
Not to mention the black "helper" assasin with dog because we HAVE to cater to the idiot pit bull loving dog crowd dont we.
Last - the same old drawn out idiotic fight scenes, shoot once or twice then for no reason at all run over and ground fight or tackle , THEN shoot in the head. My eyes rolled out of my head so many times.
I guess they just took the franchise from being a dark and serious revenge action movie in one and most of two; to a way over budgeted, surrealistic, goofy action genre like Fast and Furious, transformers, Pacific Rim, or those Megaladon movies.
