My expectations were rock bottom, but I am surprised to say, I finished this movie. I don't listen to much rap, or know anything about this main guy in real life, but he didn't play a thug here, and that's a positive. He was just this goofy guy that wanted to get to his girlfriend. I wouldn't say that this movie is hilarious, but I was amused, it kept my attention. I don't recommend it to many, but I think if you like stoner comedies, you could give it a try. It's not a heavy R-rating, just language and some drug content. Nothing overly graphic. It's just a silly film that's supposed to make you laugh. I liked it alright, and it seems like they did, too.
I caught on to CMT's "Making the Team" a long, long while, and just found it a fascinating show. I watched it for a very long time, and after it was cancelled, I watched the reruns on Pluto TV. I've got to say, I was super disappointed to see it cancelled, and then didn't have access to Netflix when this show was announced. I was bummed. After the second season of this show started, I got access, and went straight for this show!
The thing that blows my mind about this show, is that it is what I remember, but bigger! The cinematography is beautiful, and to have the staff of DCC, talking to the camera, it feels so much more personal. I think this is a wonderful next step, and feels like a gift to fans of the team and the previous show. I really enjoy it, and definitely empathize with the cheerleaders. We get to know them better. I'm just grateful that the story is continuing, this is a great show! Thank you DCC and DCC staff!

I remember this film airing on Comedy Central in the '90s. I never watched it in full until I found it on streaming.
Here's what I'll say: It's an late '80s/early '90s comedy that really mimics "The Naked Gun". It may not be as witty or hilarious as that film series, but I enjoyed it, nonetheless. It's very silly, but fun, in my opinion. I feel like this would make a good movie to watch in the morning, or on a weekend afternoon. Just relax, open your mind to a goofy film, and enjoy! It's silly fun.
