This show should be used as a teaching tool of what not to do when fighting fires, dealing with dangerous situations and preparing for emergencies. It seems that every show exhibits the ineptitude of the firefighters in the show. There are way too many pauses when action is needed. In one episode an inmate is trapped under a fire engine. Why weren't the engine stabilizers lowered to raise the vehicle? This is just one example of not using obvious choices that are available. There is too much emphasis on trying to create a dramatic plot, and not enough on the technical aspect of the job. This is what makes other shows like 911 so popular. This could be a great show. Get technical advice from real firefighters that know how an operation should be run.
Entirely too many scenes of the actors just staring into the distance apparanty to fill the time lost from lack of content. Repetitive scenes of people just walking. The idea behind the movie was solid, but the direction was terribly lacking. Hopefully a more skilled director will take the idea and present us with a version that won't make me demand that the money I spent on the rental be returned. I gave the movie a three rating because there was obviously some effort involved. Don't judge a movie by it's trailer.
