His wife is not very attractive.
This would have been a better movie if there was more attention paid to the Danish Freedom fighters during the war. Instead there is a 4 year gap in the story from 1941-1945.

Makes it look like all the men in Finland have totally abdicated to manipulative, dominating women who value their careers more than their children.
