There is some attempt to revisit the tragic event. However, missed many chance at plots to make it a compelling watch.
Not sure how Netflix approved this series for Dolby Vision colorspace, when the color grading very poor? Very amatuer color science used. Gloomy color is eye sore and doesn't complement the tense mood of the series. Was the worst watching under Dolby vision mode in all series/movies I watched till date.
The Indian series/movies/books have stigma of stating 'fictional' for every real incident based productions in the disclaimer. Why? Inspite of real codenames used there was controversy. After updating the disclaimer with names of terrorists they could have updated the first para stating something like 'Though based on real events some ... have been fictionalised.'
The pace is not gripping. With real footages in between it felt bit like documentary.

Yes there are action, adventure and gore in the series. However, the kid will steal your heart throughout the series.
Story progresses well and all character building are constructed well. Supporting characters like Big Man Jepp, Bear & Wendy are regular from second season. Other characters like pubba, birdie, etc. Do not appear regularly but part of most of the series.
Not much suspense-filled series to me. Yet still engaging one. Started around corona lockdown, this series came around at right time and made more sense. Even the ending was good. Not sure how faithful was it original comicbook but this can be enjoyed seperate from the books.
Can be watched any age group. Will be good to watch with kids.

This series is in spirits of Sherni movie by slow pacing of story. Great acting all the casts. The series feels were real as we watch through.
The original audio version makes the series more real and believable with different languages. Dubbed version will really take away the feel and intensity of wildlife crimes.
However, this series will not liked by many Indian watchers as they're not well versed in watching such shows for real issue. Maybe entertaining cut for mass audience will work to attract larger audience.
In one of the main posters, tusks are missing for the elephant. I wonder if it meant to depict that elephant can survive in the forest if they don't have them? Or that was just error by marketing/poster design team?
Such series are much required for the generations to come. Hope more such series are created.
