The mother, was very much a wussy. Once a professional stage singer, she was freaked out to sing a one line solo for an audience of about 50 people, really? It would have been better if this whole part of the story were left out, or not mentioned, but she fills in for an absent singer, and feels fulfilled, something that has been missing in her life. With current story line it just drags on about her being too nervous to perform, just overdone, and not entertaining. Her hair was very beautiful, but looked mismatched with her daughter.
Also, it always seems like these perfect, gorgeous guys, chase after these women who don't know what they want. Seriously?
More depth of story please. Seemed the script lacked substance, maybe a little of personal back story on each character would have helped.
I did love the locations of the filming, so beautiful.

I wanted to try and watch this movie, but anything with Erica Cerra, it's like watching fingernails screeching down a chalkboard. She seriously needs to STOP THE VOCAL FRY. The purposely straining and screeching of her voice is so unnecessary! It's not cute, it's not sexy, it's freaking annoying, and so distracting from the movie. Someone please tell her to STOP DOING THAT! You can't even understand what she is saying because she is straining her voice so much, it sounds like a cat in heat going for it's next victim. Then it makes it difficult to follow the movie. I have to use the captions to even understand what she's saying.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, is the Best movie ever!
It literally hit all three marks of a great movie: make 'em laugh, make 'em cry, make 'em remember.
I am a huge fan of Christmas movies, and this one is my new favorite. I loved everything about it. It reminded me of the judgey church ladies of my childhood church, who were always critical of everyone. The ones who forgot why we go to church in the first place, and to invite those in need. This movie brought a true likeness to real people, and finally showed their true heart, which was good after all, in the end. I love the wholesomeness of it, and hope we are on a trend to more movies like this one. Kudos to the entire cast and crew of this production!
