Normally I love this show, but this episode had one story that made NO SENSE. When Stephanie comes on to talk about her story they say she's 9 yo. They describe her here as 8 yo.
Problem is RIGHT AFTERWARDS they say she's in middle school! I know if she had skipped some grades they would have pointed it out (they always do). So in essence there's NO WAY she was in middle school. At nine, she should be in third or fourth grade, which is elementary school. At most, if she was able to start school earlier than the age of 5 yo (which is the required age to be before someone can start school in the US) than she would have been in 5th grade. Middle schools are either grades 6-8 or 6-9.
Since they were so specific to point out she was in middle school I think either her mother and her said she was younger then when it actually happened, or the show made her younger to make it more dramatic.
Ironic thing is, the girls age DIDN'T need to change. If she actually went through that (and they should have documentation showing the years when it happened) it would have STILL been horrible as a middle schooler.

The best thing that can be said about this movie is that they spent money on special effects.
Otherwise the screenplay wasn't good, the acting was sub-par, and the storyline just atrocious.
I've seen a lot better movies on ScyFy before and this was definitely not one of their better attempts.
I recommend you avoid this one unless you want to see a bad television movie.
I'd basically give this movie a 0 but that's not available so I'm sticking with 1 star because it's really just that bad.
