You'll want to laugh but the jokes just don't hit. If they would have put some more work into it maybe it would have been funny. It's also really drawn out. Had they not try to drag it out as a series and instead make it a direct to video 90 min movie it would have worked out better. It just comes across as half thought out and half finished. The cast was "okay", the location shots were good, photography was fine. Like I said before it's all just very mehh and just doesn't quite work. I'm not really sure what else there really is to say about this series so I'll just end it here and say mehh again.
I have to say I was shocked to see nothing but packed showings for this. But if you saw Deadpool 3 the week before there wasn't a show hole lot left it see, especially since mainstream audiences were staying away from Harold and the Purple Crayon.
All that said showing were selling out. But our package house was laughing the entire movie. Was this meant to be a comedy in disguise? Even the more dramatic bits had the audience cracking up.
In fact really it wasn't even one of those so bad it's good movies. It was just a bad movie on so many levels. The more serious the movie tried to be the harder the audience laughed.
Save this one for when it eventually it's free streaming. Not really even worth a $5 rent.

What can I say this movie was just horrible. Will Smith for starters just isn't relevant anymore. He's still acting like he's in his 20's or something but please he's well into his 50's a this point. This has to be some of his worst work. I'd say we're all just tired of him at this point. He can't keep play 20 forever.
The camera work looked like something out of a horrible Michael Bay movie. Shaky camera movements, loads of jump cuts, way too much fancy and overused / outdated camera work.
The story line was thin. Just something to hold the action segments together. Honestly it's really not much different than the 3rd movie, or the first two.
