This is in my opinion the worst Sword and Sorcerey movie ever made! I have tried to watch the entire movie from begging to end and just can't do it. I am a fan of classic bad movies and have seen some real stinkers that I could watch. This movie is not humorous, it is not dramatic, the action is terrible. I recommend throwing this one in the garbage can. I like sword and sorcery movies as a whole as well as fantasy. But with no saving grace this movie is not good entertainment for any one of any age. I paid one dollar for a DVD copy of this and it was a waste of a good dollar. Please for your own safety stay away from this movie.
Hey Bill, I agree with you that the movie was not funny or sad and was not very enjoyable. But the song Johnny's in the basemen is about drug addiction in New You when Dylan first got there. Man with the bic pen is the dealer, the bic pen minus the guts was used to hold several pills with a certain drug in them and 11 dollar bills, you only got 10 means you don't get your fix. This was really one of Bob's easier songs to understand. It is all poetry. If he had written the script to this movie as poetry it might have been good. The movie had no continuity, and was poorly acted and was doomed by the script. Except for Bob's name the movie was a complete nothing. I am sorry I rented it. A real waste of money. I am a fan of classically bad movies and this was does not even rate on the bad scale as any thing entertaining.
Buried secrets of M Night Shaymalan This was an advertising ploy to increase his "weird factor" meant to increase his audience and very well done. The interviewers (actors} appeared to be working from a script with the pauses for effect written in for effect
and it worked. Mr. Shaymalan most likely wrote and directed this 'documentary and the interviews seemed to be scripted. . After seeing this film I will go see the Village for sure and that is, I think the purpose of this so called documentary. Really a docudrama, and a good one. My Shamalan is obviously a very deep person and has a sense of humor that is likely just a little dark. The sequences at the film site with the Limo's set the stage. And helped keep us all in the dark about the true nature of this "film" Life would be boring without secrets. Don't you think!
