This show has to be my favorite out of all the 80's horror TV shows. Like Tales from the Darkside, also from the same creators, this show is a rare gem. If you agree with me, PLEASE sign this petition I started, to get the word out for Monsters and get it out on DVD. I also loved the opening intro with the monster family. That used to creep me out! One of the things I would have to ask the DVD creators to include would be the organ sound heard right before where the commercial break would be. I don't know if any of you remember that part but that's one of the main things that brings back memories to me. I mean, come on! War of the Worlds the TV series already has been released on DVD, so I say Monsters, and also Tales from the Darkside, and Friday the 13th the series should be released too! We the fans need to speak our minds! We need this awesome show on DVD so PLEASE spread the word!!!

I give this movie 5 out of 5 stars. I would also have to say that it's the best Amityville movie I've seen. The next best one would be the first Amityville horror. The movie doesn't use that much special effects, but it is real enough looking to scare you pretty good. It also is made so it keeps you interested through all of the film and is not a slow, boring movie, like say the Amityville Curse. The beginning of the movie starts out pretty fast, and starts at the original Amityville house so you can see where it all started. I have been wanting to own Amityville The Evil Escapes ever since I saw it first when I was 9. This horror flick just stays in my head! I recently found it at a retail store finally, and I'm loving every minute of it! If you don't want to buy it, you should rent it and check it out for yourself. You WON'T be disappointed! Have fun...
