  • Not THAT bad

This movie wasn't THAT bad. Sheesh! The story and setting was unique. It sort of gave me a modern day buffy the vampire slayer feel. I LOVED the main actress for this role. But the way they went about addressing colorism seemed a little strange in this film. Its okay to make a movie without social commentary. I also do think the acting was a little off in some places, but then again its a teen flick, not a hollywood masterpiece. There were also things in the story that didn't make much sense to me... like where did the African vampires come from? It would have made more sense to have Haitian vampires instead. I understand it may not have been everyone's cup of tea but it is definitely worth more than a 3.8!

  • Good suspense but left more to be desired

Pretty good acting, cast, and suspense but the movie felt a little rushed, as if they needed it to be less than 90 mins. Worth a watch, Meghan is gorgeous.

  • NOT BAD AT ALL!

This movie was suspenseful. Of course SOME people wouldn't see this as horror. For 13% of us, it is. Even if it isn't considered horror it is extremely suspenseful. I had no idea what was happening. There were emotional scenes that sucked me in.

  • Gripping and suspenseful!

I have NO idea where these bad reviews are coming from. The movie was just released today! Anyway the story was gripping. It does touch on where identity and being a cop intersect but at the end of the day right is right and wrong is wrong no matter who you are. The acting (especially by Naomi Harris and Tyrese) is phenomenal. Very suspenseful and action packed.
