What a wonderful gift to the viewer if they can make it through the first 30/40 minutes.
What starts out like a below-average comedy turns into something wonderful and deeply human as the film progresses.
It's nice to meet the one person you've lost again, no matter what burdens have piled up on both sides. It's nice to be able to add another day to the film with such honesty and openness.
Genuine, touching, human and full of magic.
The success of the film depends a little on the emotional maturity of the audience. You should also have a certain amount of foresight and empathy.
This is not a dating film a'la email for you or Pretty Woman. This is life, raw and difficult, for anyone experiencing it for the first time.

If I could write and had a story worth telling in a movie, I would want no director more than Frank Darabont. The Mist, Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption are, for me, some of the best Stephen King adaptations out there. Frank has a gift for handling stories, dialog and characters in equal measure without neglecting any of them. He brings out what is important and what is usually found between the lines in King's work. The fog is suspenseful, eerie and no matter what came with the fog, it's not half as dangerous as humans. Wrong and inhuman or just all-too-human decisions run through the whole movie and in the end it's another decision that holds absolute horror. A movie that entertains and hurts in the right places.
