I am so in love with this movie! I'm a writer and I adore William Shakespeare's work. This movie was truly amazing because I feel like it didn't take a perfectly wonderful story line and turn it into complete crap.
It was real and (in my opinion) a timeless story.
I do believe that the casting was done perfectly. Joseph Fiennes was so completely HOT in this movie. Not only was he sexy, he is a great actor and fit the character perfectly. In this movie, Will Shakespeare was supposed to be handsome and he was well with the ladies when he found the time. Joseph Fiennes fit the profile perfectly. His entire on-screen presence was the highlight of the movie. The way that he and Gwyneth Paltrow worked together was like they had known each other for awhile and they were really in love. They just had this amazing chemistry and it made the movie so much more enjoyable to watch than so many of the other movies where (I feel like) people are struggling to work together.
I know there were other people in this movie, and I'm not forgetting that at all. I'm simply commenting on my favorite actors from the movie. I like that the ending wasn't really corny. It was real. It felt like it really could've happened. If it were my life, I would have fought tooth and nail to stay with Will Shakespeare, but in that time period it was impossible to do so. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and I am looking to buy it. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone with a romantic side, or someone who needs to be reminded what a truly good movie looks like.

I can't stop laughing during this show! watching Even Stevens is the most hilarious 30 minutes of my day. Shia and A.J. make the show fun for the girls to watch. In an extreme sense, it allows an insight to the inner workings of the teenage boys' mind. Christy Carlson-Romano adds a fun flair as well, because her character Ren often foils the boys' plans. Her love life is often a mess, and Louis seems to sense that. He initially seeks to rub more salt in the wound, but ends up consoling Ren in the end. He has a huge heart, that is often misunderstood until the very end of the episode, and we are left loving Louis (until the next time).
This movie is wonderful! I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I liked it. My little brother came home from school raving about it, and I was convinced that this would be just another dorky educational movie. Ten minutes into the movie, I was hooked. Not only is Heath Ledger incredibly gorgeous, he's very talented. I was impressed with how successfully the cast and crew melted together the elements of realism and utter fantasy. The story line was fun and didn't jump all over the place, and the characters were lovable, and believable. I actually felt Sir William's pain as he was informed that he had forfeited, and was to be arrested. I felt his pain when he was ripped from his father, and sent to live with a strange man in a strange land far from home, and again I felt for him when he learned of his father's blindness. Jocelyn was incredibly beautiful and kind. She had a strong will, and refused to succumb to any man. Her love for Sir William was pure and unadulterated. The ending was as it should have been, with love and justice prevailing. I did love the music as well. It was interesting and spiced up the already wonderful movie.
