  • Interesting look at the future

    I like scifi but was so impressed with how Spielberg researched with scientists to give a realistic picture of the advances that are possible. The story line also is a good morality play that makes one think about our inability to prevent evil.

  • heart pounding suspense

    I've lived through a couple of serious earthquakes and seen lava flow (lava doesn't flow that fast) and the mudslides that can follow, but they didn't get my heart beating as hard or as fast as this movie did. Watch it with someone you want to cling to.

    I enjoyed this morality play where an angel plays "devil's advocate" to make the main character realize that some things are more important than getting rich. I'm not sure why but i picture Bette Midler in the lead and Whoppi Goldberg as the Angel.
