  • Glued to the screen for more than 2 Hours of excitement!

It took me 20 years to to view the movie version of this classic story by Alexander Dumas. When I saw that Jim Caviezel is the lead actor, I was enticed to watch it because he is one of my favorites due to his style......rarely smiles and a man of few words...This is a story of true love.... Though the story is about justice and revenge, I would say that all the events in his life was guided by the Lord God...as what was etched in his prison wall.... He could have harmed Albert but instead he protected him fully not knowing that he is his son...This is a story of true love too...The story ends with a promise and repentance so that makes all his actions justified, forgiven and virtuous....

  • Congratulations to the Writer, Director, Crew and to the whole Cast for a job well done....Best KDrama ever!

I have seen several KDramas and to this date, this is now my #1 tv series...edging my erstwhile favorites Crash Landing On You and Vagabond. This show has everything from Romance, Action, Suspense, Treachery, Humor and Tragedy. It's a Tear-jerker too from episode 2 up to the end of episode 20...You would need a lot of tissue or better a towel since there's a lot of crying for 19 episodes. The OSTs are so emotional and touching that whenever I hear IF I and I BELIEVE in a scene, my tears begin to fall..The show has the Greatest Love Story and the best last episode and ending..It's the first time I've seen all the cast but I immediately fell in love with them all, such a good chemistry and acting by the whole ensemble..You feel as if you are swayed and a part of the royal court....some of them you love, some you hate and a combination of both....but if I will surely protect my "HIS" Majesty the Crown Prince Lee Hwi...EUN-BIN PARK became one of my instant favorites and hearthrob.... she's so charming...I hope there will be another good show like this. LOVE IT..

  • Love and Kindness in the Old West!

Tom Hanks never makes a bad movie....his name brings charisma.... I was curious about the title News of the World and it literally defines Tom Hank's line of work. It's the first time I saw a private free-lance newscaster, correspondent and reported bringing news around the old west towns and that's a noble public service job.... But that's only a character build-up as the story is about love, kindness, patience, perseverance probably all the good deeds an elderly man can give to a young person.....The unruly girl acted true to her role.... This movie is gratifying and satisfaction guaranteed.... Highly recommended for all ages...

  • Much much better than the 1953 Original....

This is a freaky nice scary movie for entertainment pleasure of slasher movie lovers. There is a lot of suspenseful gory and blood oozing scenes. This is one of the best remakes and more times much better than the original, don't understand the over-all low rating of this remake. The horror movies of the 50's and 60's are usually very simple stories and slow moving....then it will abruptly be The End unexpectedly. The villain Vincent looks like OZZY and the OST were taken from rock and heavy metal music. I was able to recognize the beautiful face of Cathy as the daughter of Jack Bauer, Kim Bauer in the TV show 24...Literally, the house and contents were made of wax so it will easily burn down... I've watched the original then the remake in a week's time and I can gauge the comparison which one is better...This is one of the best slasher movies I've seen.

  • A long multi-Romance entanglement epic saga!

This is the first Chinese TV series I ever watched...I don't know if I can still endure to watch a very long series with 49 episodes like this....The "loves me - loves me not" story is quite simple but the production still made the viewers to stay put until the final un-predictable end....though, this is not the show that you want to watch continuosly and finish soonest...The 3 main stars really carried the show...Wolf Boy/Prince Bo is the brute macho guy, Zhaixing is so charming and demure for her role and Ji-Chong is very lovable and good looking guy.. The costumes, cinematography and the OST with a "RAP" portion is also great...This show is recommended to those who want to kill time and has the patience to watch a long series'

  • A hilariously scary movie....total entertainment!

This is a freaking awesome movie....never a dull moment from beginning to end....What happens when you mix a horror movie with the likes of Friday the 13th, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Scream with comedy and humour, then you get a total entertainment....love and hate Vince Vaughn in this movie...

  • NON STOP ACTION Galore....Mix-Match Humans vs Humans vs Zombies!

This is the best action movie with a Zombies plot....Mad Max and Fast and Furious combined. I don't understand the low scores given by the others...they probably don't know the meaning of entertainment.. I was at the edge of my seat from the truck and vehicles chase till the end...it was breath-taking.....The movie is all about valor and not to lose hope as long as you are breathing alive....that's the moral lesson to the story....This is a highly recommended movie for all action-suspense and a bit of horror fanatics..

  • Highly Recommended and Exceptional KD...never a dull moment!

I consider this series one of the best KD I've seen and I put it in my Top 3 together with CLOY and VAGABOND....The stars are all new to me but everyone acted exceptionally and the 2 main stars have good chemistry. The story-writing is terrific and very fast paced. The story is somewhat complicated but realistic and it gets clearer and clearer as the series go on but it's unpredictable. This series has everything in it...Crime, Mystery, Suspense, Thriller, Drama and True Love Story....This is how a good show should be...enticing you to watch till the end...it's un-forgettable....we need more of this kind of shows....Kudos to the Ensemble....

  • A Historical Epic Drama with Touch of Romance..

I just finished this very long KDrama which is 1-1/2 times longer than the others. I'm not giving this show a very high score nor a low score...it's just about normal satisfaction to me. I find it quite dragging because of the long episodes.. It would have been fast paced if was reduced to the standard 16 episodes...so many scenes can be cut....There was no suspense at all that you will be eager to continue and watch the next episodes...it's tantamount to a boring show....The romance between the two stars seems to be awkward like a January-December or a father-daughter affair...the guy is 50 and the girl is very young at 30....I don't find it sweet or romantic...What I like about the show is the Cinematography, Costumes and I like the music theme Greensleeves. The show is realism and not fantasy and the use of flashbacks is limited only unlike other shows which consumes most of the time using flashbacks.....On the over-all, it's a good show and recommended if you have patience to watch 24 episodes.

  • You will feel young again...a must watch for 80's nostalgia....

I am very glad that I bumped into this show...at first I didn't know it was the sequel of the 1984 Karate Kid...It's nice to see the original stars like Ralph Macchio, William Zabka and several others who are already in the late 50's or early 60's. The addition of young-blooded characters makes this show more exciting. It makes you feel young again specially with the 80's rock music soundtrack. This episodes are short and very viewable...there is no dull moment...you want to continue on and on...The show is a good balance of Action...Family-Drama and a spice of Romance stories....highly recommended for all ages....even the oldies....

  • Very Boring without a Major Plot....No Excitement....Dis-Appointing...

This is probably the most boring and worst KDrama series I've seen....you just want to get over it so you can move on...I watched this mainly because of the Vagabond star but he's so dis-appointing here. The lady star has no appeal at all and they don't have any chemistry ...The romance was the worst....There were too many useless characters...but they are very annoying specially the Devil King....The name SAMJANG was so over-used...as eat Samjang...kill Samjang...There was actually no major plot or story....the episodes are mainly sub-plots that doesn't give any excitement...and then it suddenly change to another sub-plot....I don't understand the hype or the over-rated reviews...these people must be kidding....

  • The #1 Action-Suspense-Mystery-Romance KDrama....SPECTACULAR!

I am hoping that Season 2 comes soon, the story has to be finished. If I can give a score more than 10, I will do. This show is very intense non-stop action suspense mystery thriller with a lot of twists and turn and the story gets deeper and deeper...Though a very serious plot, the writer was able to inject some bits of humor and a cute romance story. The chemistry of the 2 stars is fantastic and I commend all the stars from the top to the bottom for very good acting where you will love the good guys and absolutely hate the bad guys. I have my new darling crush in SUZY BAE, youthful, charming and cute...I consider this my #1 KDrama show together with CLOY....Bravo,to this fantastic and spectacular TV series...

  • If your are expecting Erotic scenes...you will be Dis-appointed...bad storytelling too.

If you want to value your time better not watch this series...It was only prolonged to 18 episodes because the story was going back and forth and nowhere....The story is senseless and the twists doesn't even make you interested at all...the story is all messed up until the end which is very confusing....The sex scenes are one of the worst....there are no frontal nudity and the stars especially the mother and more the daughter act very awkward and conscious of their acting...the dead woman acted a littler better. If you want torrid and erotic scenes with a nice interesting plot/story.....better watch "The Affair" or "Outlander"....Mexican soap operas doesn't live up to expectations...

  • Poignant Romance Story Post Marriage

First of all, I watched this TV series because of Son Ye-Jin....when she was still very young at 24...she looked very simple almost without make-up because of her role as an ordinary woman with simple living...yet she's very beautiful.. The romance story was simple and not really uncommon among divorcees who re-marry so I was really surprised that the writer was able to prolong the story for 16 episodes..It was a mixture of sad and some happy moments but more on the sadness..but the ending will give the viewers a sigh of relief....Highly recommendable for romance story lovers.....

  • Typical Court Drama with an Un-expected Ending...

This KDrama is quite slow moving for me,,,,with a predictable ending partially....then suddenly the writer went out of bounds and created a silly ending......just to make a very simple story become different with a twist...It's hard to admire the lady star...though she looks pretty but she is so thin...making her look weird....I don't see any change of facial expressions from beginning to end specially the male character...You need a lot of patience to enjoy watching this show....

  • This Love Story happens all the time....only to some closely knit families.

First of all, I watched this series because of Son Ye Jin, my number 1 favorite actress....just by looking at her pretty beautiful face is already contentment and entertainment for me.. The story and plot is simple, typical and very ordinary..there were no other sub=plots to complicate the story. This type of romance is very typical specially for Asian families....where family and friend ties is very closely knit and children stay with their parents beyond the age of adulthood and independency. The parents are very strict and over protective of their children specially daughters who is still unmarried beyond the 30's...The parents become a hindrance to sometimes to their children's happiness in their love life..This type of romance is hardly found in Western and European countries...This is still a watchable series and some may find it interesting and exciting but for me being an Asian, it's a very ordinary situation plot.

  • Best fantasy tv series that could happen in the future about AI....

I have seen several fantasy tv shows about an alien, mermaid , an eternal king twice but so far this is the best I have seen....it humor, love story, drama and suspense until the last minutes of the final episode....the plot seems to be impossible but I could foresee it happening in the future due to the influx of artificial intelligence....the male star played well his contrasting dual roles and did well as a robot...The female star looks very simple but very pretty....I believe the two have good chemistry...I also love the OSTs....Highly recommended to watch for those who like cute love stories and with crying moments....

  • Time and Place Travel that is very confusing.....

I am not too impressed by this KDrama...It was quite exciting up to episode 10 and then suddenly the story was all messed up and became very confusing....just wanted it to get over and finish this show. ..The travel scenes were bouncing back and forth and you can no longer distinguished the exact time and place. The writer created so many major characters that made it complex but they all disappeared without a trace of what happened to them....Even the villain was killed twice by both stars....I liked better the fantasy shows about the alien and the mermaid....

  • Extraordinary relationship between a wannabe mother and daughter that worked.

I was very curious to watch this KDrama because of the very high rating of 9.1 even higher than my favorites ...It is indeed watchable and therefore recommended....The story-telling was just right and it was not slow, dragging and boring..It has a unique plot again which is usual for a KDrama and the criminal who turns out to be the good samaritan is the winner at the end....something like the good prevails over evil....I actually expected this to be heavy drama with lots of crying...but I was surprised that I only became teary-eyed from episode 13 onwards...I cried even harder with CLOY and other fantasy comedy romance shows....As expected, there was not a humor sequence and the romance is only a bit of teaser.....still one of the best shows for me.

  • Unique story with a very clear plot......

Fantasy stories give the writers the chance to be creative and imaginative and to think outside the box....This story is different from other time travels or parallel universe stories...The many different murder cases made the series interesting and they incorporated all these cases in one story....There's not much thinking because each episode is very clear....just got confused a bit in the final episode... There are no beautiful faces or cute love stories in these show except crime, drama, mystery and a bit of crush......over-all the stars played their parts well and its recommended for KDrama fanatics for a change.

  • This Environmental Historical Biopic is a Must See by Humanity....

An environmental story plot about pollution is not a common fare in movies...This movie is somewhat disturbing and scary since it is a true historical biopic. People would not have known or get educated about this poisonous chemical if not for this simple and short story-telling about the corruption of a chemical giant who has been using this poison and contaminatiing people all over the planet for so many years now. ..This expose is really an eye opener and a must see for everyone living in this planet.

  • Watchable and Recommended for Your KDrama List.

Fantasy stories are very delicate plots to appreciate. I find this series too long, slow and dragging...The same flashbacks scenes goes over and over again which prolonged the series. This would have been a good 2 hour movie....The plot was quite simple enough but it ended very abruptly without me noticing that it's already the final episode but un-expected ending..On the bright side, it is a unique fantasy love story like a January-December affair.

  • Very unique reality story with unpredictable ending...a show that has it all...

It's Action, Crime, Drama, Comedy, Mystery, Suspense and Romance. The show has everything in it. The 2 Stars may not be the cutest and the best chemistry but all the cast played their roles very well.

The first half of episodes are quite slow but the second half accelerated and became very interesting. The ending is unpredictable up to the last 10 minutes. The plot/story is unique but very realistic....

I remembered watching the TV series "Person of Interest" and the action-suspense of "Mission Impossible." It was a great plan and teamwork by the main stars.

  • A Fantastic fantasy love story that you will fantasize.....

This is my 5th K-drama I've watched and I will put it in my number 3 behind CLOY and KINGDOM..It's a nice decent watchable tv show that you will be excited to watch till the end. I like the ending of this show which is short and crisp compared to the others...your interest will not be drained by a very long ending. The 2 main stars are very cute and lovely and the supporting cast played their part well. If you are into K-drama, this show should be on your list.
