Starting Strong is an entertaining and informative TV Program that teaches the viewer about Americas Army. The premise is a civilian gets to experience an MOS or Military Occupational Specialty for a week then see how the skills they are taught can translate to a civilian career if they decide not to pursue a 20 year career. The episodes include wheeled vehicle mechanic, medic, cook, forward observer, sapper, infantryman, military police etc. The program is a refreshing look at how professional and organized the Army is. The enthusiasm of the soldiers involved in Americas all volunteer Army is obvious. These are highly trained, productive and valuable people who perform missions. Its kinda like Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe, but Army Jobs! If I was eligible to join the Army I would find the program extremely interesting as it gives a behind the scenes look into Army culture and life before you commit. Ricky Schroder Productions has produced an amazing project.
A really enjoyable Family movie. The 2nd highest rated Hallmark movie channel movie ever. Cambrie Schroder breakout debut role. She delivers a solid performance and carries the film with her wonderful charisma. Thefilm was written and Directed by her Father Ricky who plays Jack Thomas, a cowboy on the edge of losing his ranch. Nice supporting roles are played by Angela Linvall, Eloise De Joria, Martin Kove, Cliff Pots and Chris Massagolia. The cinematography was beautiful, as is all the work of Steve Gainer, who also had a producing credit on the film. Andrea Schroder co-write and Executive Produced. A sequel is already in the development process based on the huge success of the original title "Our Wild Hearts.
