I really think it is time to send the superhero movie to the grave. As most of them lately this was once again a huge disappointment. Maybe a serious rethinking of the genre might save the day. In that case I would strongly advise to not leave the storytelling in charge of producers, a CGI or marketing department. This movie is called superman, right? Why all those other characters stealing superman's thunder? This made him more a weakerman. He couldn't do anything without someone's help. And then there's that dog for the comic relief. If you're not rolling on the floor laughing out loud after seeing a cat or dog reel, it's just a silly and useless addition.
Another tip : something less threatening than yet again the total inhalation of the universe can be equally exciting!
