Here lie the origins of our beloved 'The Brady Bunch'. Sure, 'Yours, Mine & Ours' was released first in 1968 and was a box office smash, but this one... this one is bettah. Brian Keith was HAWT and the title of the film is weird. Also, look for George Carlin, Jamie Farr and Sam the Butchah. I also now realize Old English Sheepdogs appear in most family-friendly movies of the late 60s, and this guy is named Calico (which is dumb) but brings the famblee together. I also realize it was Doris Day's last film, but she was before my time and didn't realize her cultural influence until recently. Anyway, did I mention Brian Keith appears shirtless many times?
This film is a blast! Just sit back and let it unfold, and you'll be transported back to a time when you were a young idiot, searching for something different - something silly, supernatural, and sexy! For all it's 'winks' and self-realization, there is an interesting story here - for real. I actually appreciate the plot, pacing and title. Reminds one of classic B-grade horror/comedy/musical films from yesteryear; 'Scared to Death' (1947) and 'Scared Stiff' (1953) which should be the name of the sequel to 'Scared Topless' if you think about it. Anyway, if you're reading this, trust me! It's a lot of fun! Have a laugh, perfect for Halloweenie!
This film is a hysterical sexy romp, (with SHARKS)! That is so ridiculous, fun and silly. It's a rare treat and harkens back to the days of a 1960s drive-in, but in the 21st Century. A real fun time, especially with a group of friends after late-nite shennanigans! Or even alone! You'll thank me for recommending, because it's FUN!
