  • Ananya is on top from the nepo lot

Ananya Panday's new series Call Me Bae is a delightful breath of fresh air in the world of Indian OTT content. The show, which centers around the journey of a privileged fashionista-turned-independent woman, allows Ananya to shine in a role that showcases her growth as an actor. She carries the show with grace, wit, and a surprising depth that goes beyond her glamorous persona.

What sets Ananya apart from other so-called "nepotism kids" like Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor is her clear evolution and willingness to embrace challenging roles. While the industry often questions the merit of star kids, Call Me Bae is a testament to Ananya's dedication to honing her craft. Her portrayal of Bae, who navigates personal and professional crises while maintaining her signature charm, is both relatable and aspirational. Unlike her contemporaries, Ananya seems to have carved out her own unique identity on screen.

Where Suhana Khan is still testing waters and Shanaya Kapoor is gearing up for her debut, Ananya has already managed to show significant growth from her earlier roles in films like Student of the Year 2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh. In Call Me Bae, she proves that she is more than just a product of her lineage-her comedic timing, emotional range, and on-screen presence feel polished, and she commands attention in every frame.

The supporting cast in Call Me Bae is strong, but it's Ananya's performance that truly steals the show. She doesn't shy away from being vulnerable, flawed, and at times, outright silly, which makes her character all the more endearing. In comparison to other star kids, Ananya has demonstrated a work ethic and versatility that suggests she's here to stay for reasons that go beyond her last name.

In conclusion, Call Me Bae is not just a fun, light-hearted series-it's a showcase of Ananya Panday's potential to become one of Bollywood's most promising young talents. This performance sets her apart from her peers and shows that with the right choices, she's more than capable of leading the next generation of actors in Indian cinema.

  • Review from a Pakistani

I Started the series by thinking it will be fully against Pakistan but to my surprise, i think this is the first time A story involving India Pakistan rivalry, has been told in such neutral way,

I found it very catchy, it was fast paced, to the point story. Also it is very sad to find out that these terrorists were roaming free in Pakistan after so called mission. A mission which shattered almost 200 lives. I have deep sympathy for the passengers.

May these kind of series come, where the main goal is to tell the real story instead of only glorifying own people.

Must watch series. For me i binged on it. It was very gripping.

  • FAKE RATINGS FOR A FLOP MOVIE

I don't know what were they thinking. I mean come one, you can do better than this.

Message for Anil Kapoor, please for god's sake stop wasting your energy in these kind of flop projects. You are a legend. Be like a legend.

This is by far the worst remake of any movie ever. It is so bad, the acting, the sound effects, the songs, just absolutely terrible.

Total waste of time. The ratings are 100% fake. Bollywood has made some good movies and who better to know than anil kapooor, but i don't understand why he is doing projects like these which he himself knows are going to be flop. The other actors were terrible as well. Speacially the woman.
