It's a great movie. After a very long time I've been for a bollywood movie and i was very happy with Drishyam 2.
Note: I had watched Malayalam Drishyam 2 on OTT, so i knew the story. But at no point i felt bored. The performances were unique and dialogue deliveries were excellent. Ajay Devgan and Tabu did great and everyone else enabled them to excel in it.
The cinematography was amazing keeping you hooked onto your seats.
The best part was the casting was the same as part 1. We could see how everyone has actually changed with time and could relate.
The movie is skillfully made such that even if someone has not watched part 1, can enjoy this movie.
Definitely a great movie to enjoy with family.

Watched the movie today on Netflix with family. Frankly speaking the movie was not upto the mark. Especially the overacting done by Amir Khan. So while watching the movie we couldn't compare the character performed by Tom Hanks and then when we see Amir Khan over(act), the eyelashes, the sounds he made just didn't feel original. I felt he was performing in PK !
Now coming to the the story, at multiple places it didn't feel engaging especially the war scene- it was not done well. I remember clearly the war and the preparations for the war shown in the movie Forest Gump was so engaging and in the end we felt emotional and had tears in eyes, here the connect was missing.
Overall, I'm giving 3 just for the acting by the child laal Singh & Amir khans else i would have given 1.

I had high hopes as this was a Priyadarshan Movie. But sad to tell, it's the worst movie by Priyadarshan which lacks storyline, and it's utterly boring and not-funny!
Lead actor Meezaan Jaffrey, is fine for modeling, he looks hot but - He's not made for comedy. Lacks expressions, dialogue delivery is amateur. He's the biggest spoiler in this movie.
Jhonny Lever did a good job and justice to his role and it was funny but it was too little! Should have given more screen-time.
Ashutosh Rana, Rajpal Yadav were wasted on this movie as they were bounded by their boring roles.
Paresh Rawal was the best of all in this movie.
Dialogues: Very bad language, usage of indecent language for God in few instances. It's just pathetic.
Overall, a movie which is terrible in terms of story, there's no laughter ride, and yawn worthy.
