The same stupid mistakes, the run of the mill factory lineup acting, the hesitation from the characters, the terrible cinematography, the uninventive framing, the unnecessary pulpy romance, the characters and their silly emotional lives, the cheesy dialogue.
I couldn't stand it. Please stop making bad TV. Who greenlit this? Why? What attracted you? I mean even the source novel is lowbrow pulp. For god's sake!
Why can't you have strong decisive, rational characters for once! Who can shoot straight and not be cardboard cutouts from a 10 years boys mind.
I just want to get the producers and writers and sit them all down and tell them please to shove it up their backsides and then poop it out and eat it again.

I mean how else could you explain a poorly directed, badly shot, terribly paced, shoddily acted farce? I might understand if it was an allegory for something, I might even get it if was a genuinely romantic film, but it was neither of those!
So I have to ask, are the reviews here fake? What in the blue hell was this?!
Badly scripted, characters without motivation,, why is it set in the 80s?
You might even argue I didn't get it. What's there to get? I wasn't expecting wall to wall action or a zombie flick. I went in blind, I knew the directors work, I thought this will be promising. Instead I got a flat paced, dry, unengaged, pointless flick. I don't understand why this was made. Who greenlit this pile of rubbish?

This might just be the greatest TV show of all time. Right up there with Boardwalk Empire, Sopranos and Sesame Street. I can't praise it enough. Watch it and it will engross you, educate you and most of all change your life. I cannot stress the effort and level of writing and professionalism that has gone into this well crated TV show. Producers will be standing in awe in decades to come, to understand how every aspect of this show melded together to create what is perhaps a masterpiece of it's era. The cinematography. The beauty, the dialogue, the gratitious nudity, amazing feat. Whatever you do today, just watch this.
