I saw all of the original scandi series and was initially going to pass on this as that was so well done. I have now watched this remake and have say its extremely well done with the same dark undertones and great character acting, so well worth watching as its a stellar performance by all of the cast...loved the filming too in Scotland as that really added to the overall atmosphere...so i am pleased to admit that some remakes can turn out to be excellent if they are sympathetically done with the original script. So i look forward to seeing the rest of the original series being done with a celtic theme.
Discovered this by sheer chance on prime and really glad i did. The plots are good, plenty of action and in between the humour there are some great moments as the team develop their characters. In a week i got through the first 10 episodes and really want/ hope for a 2nd season. In this very serious world we are all in at present its nice to have a series like this to escape in.. Highly recommend it.
Wasn't sure at first, seemed a bit low key and slow' so checked out the IMDB reviews and decided to stick with it. Am I glad i did, as it was thoroughly absorbing to watch. Apart from the intriguing story line it was to care that went into flushing out so many of the main characters. Its been a long time since i have seen that level of detail and its one of those rare events where you find yourself thinking about the characters, long after the credits have rolled. I am not an out and out Western fan but this was top notch, so well done to all the writers and cast, they did a great job. One I will remember for a long time to come , give it a go i think you will be pleasantly surprised if you like high drama.
