Its a different take on the 90s version, its stands up quite well. Its a bit gory in places but its credible, I dont get all the hate and can think of far worse movies with a better overall rating than this. The story is obviously along simular lines to to the 90s version, a couple is murdered by gangsters and to be reunited with her, guided by crows he must kill them all and their demonic leader ti be reunited with her. There are good visuals, plenty of ass kicking action, overloaded with blood and violence once the movie gets going. Its a bit of a slow burner to begin with so stick with it. Overall I give it a 7.
