This is a mish mash of fiction and fact, introducing characters who didn't exist.
As if the topic wasn't already traumatic enough, the makers attempted to wring even more emotion from the story with fake characters.
The acting was variable with cod accents galore.
Connor Swindells was wooden ,with the one facial expression used to cover every emotion he sought to display.
God only knows why Eddie Marsan was given the part of the American investigator? His accent was OTT like an Advert for Kentucky Fried Chicken,a pity as he is usually a reliable presence.
Peter Mullan was the one saving grace giving some depth and emotion to his character.
The make up artist seemed to have used a bulk order of hair dye on some of the actors which I found quite distracting .
The Lockerbie story and victims deserved better.
